POTOC invite you to the STAFFORDSHIRE and STOKE ON TRENT SCHOOLS ORIENTEERING CHAMPIONSHIPS

at HANLEY (CENTRAL) FOREST PARK

Travel: OS Map 118, Grid Ref: SJ887488 (Post Code ST1 6BB) From Hanley take Town Road and Chell Street (B5049) towards Smallthorne. After approx. 1km, turn left into carpark.

Courses: Y5/6 COMPETITION; Best 4 individuals or pairs from at least 3 courses: C1-Y5G, C2-Y5B, C3-Y6G, C4-Y6B.

Y7/8 COMPETITION; Best 4 individuals or pairs from at least 3 courses: C5-Y7G, C6-Y7B, C7-Y8G, C8-Y8B.

Y9/10 COMPETITION; Best 4 individuals or pairs from at least 3 courses: C9-Y9G, C10-Y9B, C11-Y10G, C12-Y10B.

Y11-Y13 COMPETITION; Best 2 individuals to score. C13-Girls C14-Boys

Trophies: 1 shield for each COMPETITION to be engraved and retained by the school for 1 year

Medals: To the first 3 places, individuals or pairs, on each course.

Map: 1:5000 scale. Control descriptions on back of map. 1 map per pair.

Times: Registration: 9.45am. to 12.30pm.

Starts: 10.00am. to 1.00pm.

Entries: Bring as many as you wish. Pairs must be of same gender. Please inform organiser of approx. numbers on each course by; 6.00pm. WEDNESDAY 16th March 2022

Price: £2.50 per pupil. * MUST WEAR FULL LEG COVER / CARRY A WHISTLE*

Facilities: At the Visitor Centre, toilets and refreshments.

Safety: Competitors take part at own risk. Some adults (DBS checked) will be out on the area to ensure the safety of runners.
