Membership Options

Our basic club membership is £8 per year for Seniors (18+) and £3 for Juniors. Compared to most other sports club memberships this is fantastic value. Members on the basic package benefit from reduced entry to all our local events. In addition you will receive a copy of the club newsletter "The Potter".

If you only intend to take part in the local events and activities that we run then Basic Club Membership is the best option for you. The club membership runs for 365 days, starting on the date you become a member.

Also, on offer is Affiliate Membership which is aimed at people who may be a member of another club, but wish to take part and be a member of POTOC also. This membership is £5 for Seniors and £3 for Juniors.

We also offer a Group membership for schools or scouting groups, which is £12.

Our full membership (Club + BOF) includes affiliation to the British Orienteering Federation (BOF) which is the national governing body for orienteering within Great Britain. The full membership for Seniors is £23 (POTOC £8 plus BOF £15) and for Juniors £8 (£3 + £5). The Family rate is £12 (POTOC) plus the sum of the individual BOF memberships.

The full membership allows you to represent POTOC in all the bigger events such as Regional and National events. If you intend to compete in these competitions then this is the membership that you will require. Membership runs for the calendar year.

New members joining from October will have membership that will run to end of following year.
